| Eating Snails! |
After the day tours of Seville--which I thought was absolutely gorgeous, the older people from Chicago and California went on a little night cruise, while the CHS kids went for a night on the town. First we went to a restaurant and had a bunch of appetizers, such as snails (Actual snails...still with the horns and legs and everything), some good chicken and pork with bleu cheese sauce on top, and other stuff. It took me a while to convince myself to try the snail...but after a while my friends and I decided to eat it at the same time. We counted to three and I put it in my mouth...but I couldn't get past the whole "legs, horns, and sliminess" thing... so I spit it right back out! I guess my attempt at being adventurous kind of failed...but that's okay.
After eating, we went to a plaza in Seville, and watched the Spain Vs. Croatia game on the big screen along with hundreds of other Spaniards. Definitely an AMAZING experience. After that, we got ice cream and went kareoking. It's amazing how different the night life is from here in the U.S. People in Spain are out all night, and it's so lively. I loved it!
En Espanol: En Seville, Primera nosotros fuimos a comer...nosotros comimos caracoles! Segunda, fuimos a una plaza en Seville y vimos el partido "Espana vs. Croatia" en la Copa de Europa. Finalmente, fuimos al karaoke. Era muy divertido!!
